Congratulations Texas Medal of Arts winners

The Wittliff Collections and Texas State University-San Marcos congratulate Austin City Limits and Keith Carter, as well as all of the recipients of this year’s Texas Medal of Arts Awards.

The Wittliff Collections are proud to house Austin City Limits archives donated by Bill Arhos, and the largest holding of photographs by Keith Carter in the world. Carter’s monograph, A Certain Alchemy, is the newest release in the Wittliff’s Southwestern & Mexican Photography Series with UT Press and our third book celebrating Carter’s work. Founder Bill Wittliff was honored with the Texas Medal of Arts Multimedia Award in 2007.
