Elmer Kelton

The Elmer Kelton collection consists of materials acquired primarily through gifts from Kelton and Bill and Sally Wittliff.

 

The collection includes Kelton's novels, as well as a complete set of the "Pioneer News Observer," which Kelton worked for from 1970-1974. Also present is a fourteen page manuscript of a bibliography written by Kelton entitled "West Texas: From Settlement to the Present." The Kelton collection also holds photographs of Kelton by Bill Wittliff, and miscellaneous Kelton ephemera.
