Phyllis S. Morgan is the author of award-winning bio-bibliographies of major Southwestern writers: Rudolfo Anaya, Marc Simmons, N. Scott Momaday.
The Phyllis S. Morgan Papers at the Wittliff Collections consist of her research, correspondence, manuscripts, and related material for her bio-bibliographies Marc Simmons of New Mexico: A Maverick Historian and N. Scott Momaday: Remembering Ancestors, Earth, and Traditions An Annotated Bio-Bibliography. The Wittliff Collections is also home to Marc Simmons’ literary papers.
