From December 16, 2024, through January 13, 2025, the main doors on the 2nd floor of Albert B. Alkek Library will be closed for construction. An alternative entrance is available on the first floor, located on the eastern side of the building.
Coming from the direction of the LBJ Parking Garage, go through the Alkek Library breezeway and go down the stairs. Take a left, and the automatic doors will be on your left.
An alternate accessible route is also available. Take an immediate right before passing through the breezeway. Go down the ramp and continue around to the east side of the building until you pass the main stairs. The automatic doors will be on your left.
